Robot
controller HAC-854CE
The robot control contains all functions of a motion
control and furthermore offers the possibility to control the
periphery processes. Through it use of an additional sequence
control (PLC) is no longer necessary. The robot control is a
microprocessor system which works according to the multi tasking
method. It can work up to 32 sequential control process
simultaneously.
Being reached process times which are attainable with times of
typical PLC controls at this. The inputs and outputs of the
control are realized in field bus technology with max. 4096 inputs
and 4096 outputs.
Seven serial interfaces (RS 232 C) are freely configurable and can
be used to connect to intelligent controls like bar code scanner,
image processing systems etc. Several robot mechanism cannot be
operated with one controller last.
In addition, the controller has timers and numerous variable
memories like bit, byte, Word, coordinates and text memories.
These memories can be selected and read out during the normal
automatic operation through the programming interface (Ethernet or
RS 232 C). Several of these controls also can be to connect to a
network with each other and to connect with a host computer about
a local network.
The controller is available in different design. One model is a standard
compact controller which can control four axes at maximum and has
dimensions like a desktop PC cabinet. The other type is called
"Embedded controller" and can be built in any suitable
industrial control cabinet.
The embedded
controller in a customised cabinet offers a lot of advantages for
a quick and cost-saving integration in a complete system. All
components of the safety features and equipment are already
installed. There are already interfaces for external emergency
pushbuttons, door switches and dead man switch. On request we add
a touch screen panel as human machine interface. For the control
of external devices as valves, sensors or other actuators and
initiators just connect the required numbers of remote I/O modules
by a field bus system. This version of robot and peripherals
control is very attractive for system builders because of reduced
work of engineering and installation time and cost.
